Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Scientific Business Analyst with a strong background in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, and AI product delivery. The ideal candidate will partner with Product Managers, Business Leads, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to define AI use cases, translate scientific business requirements into AI\-ready solutions, and support AI initiatives across clinical research and drug development.

Primary Skills (Must Have)

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or related discipline.
  • 8\+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical R\&D, Clinical Research, Clinical Development, or Translational Science.
  • 8\+ years of Business Analysis and requirements gathering experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical development lifecycle and pharmaceutical processes.
  • Experience translating business needs into AI\-ready functional requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience defining KPIs, business outcomes, User Stories, URS/FRS, and leading UAT activities.
  • Strong understanding of Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Analysis, and Scientific Data Interpretation.
  • Hands\-on programming experience using Python for data analysis, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and automation.
  • Strong SQL skills for data querying, validation, and analysis.
  • Experience working with Data Scientists and AI teams to define model inputs, outputs, and evaluation metrics.

Roles \& Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Managers, Business Leads, AI Engineers, and Data Scientists to define AI use cases and business requirements.
  • Translate scientific and business requirements into AI\-ready functional specifications and user stories.
  • Analyze clinical and scientific datasets using Python and SQL to support AI initiatives.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), data validation, and statistical analysis.
  • Define AI model inputs, outputs, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with AI, Data Engineering, and QA teams throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Maintain project documentation in Jira or Azure DevOps and provide regular status updates.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

  • Knowledge of AI/ML concepts, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and LLMs.
  • Experience with Prompt Engineering and AI analytics platforms.
  • GxP / Computer System Validation (CSV) knowledge.
  • Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and visualization tools.
