AI Integration Associate (Forward-Deployed)

The role

As an AI Integration Associate, you will be forward-deployed into client environments and internal teams. You will work directly with executives, operators, engineers, and frontline staff to understand how work actually gets done, then redesign and automate those workflows using AI.

You will operate at the intersection of:

• AI and automation
• Business operations
• Client-facing consulting
• Product thinking and deployment

You will own workstreams end-to-end. That includes discovery, design, deployment, and measurement of value.

What you will do

• Spend significant time on-site with clients across the US (typically 2–3 weeks per month)
• Deeply understand existing workflows, systems, and operational bottlenecks
• Identify high-impact opportunities for AI automation and AI agent deployment
• Design and prototype AI-driven solutions using modern AI tools and platforms
• Work closely with remote engineering teams to productionize deployments
• Run client meetings independently and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders
• Push back when needed and advocate for the right technical and operational decisions
• Measure and clearly articulate the dollar value of automation delivered

What success looks like

This role is explicitly performance-driven.

Success is measured by:

• Dollar value of automation delivered for clients
• Revenue influenced or generated for Ajaia
• Quality and durability of deployed AI systems
• Client trust, ownership, and satisfaction

Top performers are expected to drive at least 10x the value of their total compensation through cost savings, productivity gains, or revenue impact.

Who this is for

We are looking for people with exceptional upside.

You likely have:

• A strong technical foundation (computer science or equivalent experience strongly preferred)
• Comfort with Python, APIs, systems thinking, and modern AI tooling
• Deep interest in LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled workflows
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Executive presence and the ability to carry yourself with senior stakeholders
• High raw intelligence and the ability to learn extremely fast
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, high-pressure environments

You do not need to be a production engineer. You do need to understand technology deeply enough to design real systems and work effectively with engineers.

• Remote-only
• Narrow or siloed
• A purely research or academic role
• A low-pressure environment

If you are looking for clearly bounded responsibilities, fixed hours, or minimal client interaction, this will not be a good fit.

Compensation and growth

• Base salary: ~$70,000
• Performance bonus: 20–50 percent of base, tied directly to ROI and value delivered
• Uncapped upside for top performers
• Clear promotion path: Associate → Senior Associate → Lead
• High performers can reach Lead within approximately two years

This is an early-seat role in a firm designed to produce future AI leaders.

Location and requirements

• Based in New York City when not traveling
• Frequent domestic travel (Florida, California, New York, and other client locations)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
