Applied Research Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Applied Research Engineer to join our innovative team dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer vision, natural language processing, robotics, and data mining, with experience in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI models. The position is full-time and involves collaborative research & development efforts aimed at pushing the boundaries of technological innovation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced research in AI, machine learning, and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other relevant tools.
• Develop and optimize algorithms for computer vision, natural language processing, and signal processing tasks.
• Design and implement models for unsupervised learning, model training, data mining, and model evaluation.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on robotics projects involving sensor data analysis and algorithm development.
• Utilize cloud computing platforms like AWS for large-scale data processing and model deployment.
• Write high-quality code in languages such as Python, C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, R, and SQL to support research initiatives.
• Analyze complex datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform product development and innovation strategies.
• Publish research findings in scientific journals and present at conferences to contribute to the broader scientific community.

Requirements

• Proven experience in computer science or related fields with a focus on AI or machine learning research.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C++, Java, C#, MATLAB, R, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other relevant tools.
• Expertise in computer vision, natural language processing, signal processing, or robotics applications.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services for scalable data processing and model deployment.
• Familiarity with quantum engineering concepts is a plus.
• Experience with algorithm design, data mining techniques, and model training methodologies.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
