Cloud Solutions Architect (Hybrid Position)

Job Summary:

The Cloud Solutions Architect is responsible for leading and delivering cloud computing initiatives across the organization, including the design, planning, and implementation of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native applications. This role provides architectural leadership across IT and business domains, supporting cloud brokering activities and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

The architect designs scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS service models, supports enterprise and application migrations, and guides decision-makers on AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI initiatives across AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure. The role also contributes to reference architectures, runbooks, and training materials that promote cloud best practices and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud application and infrastructure architectures aligned with business goals and technical requirements
• Architect scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments following industry best practices
• Plan and engineer cloud computing infrastructure, including required hardware and software components
• Architect solutions utilizing fit-for-purpose service models such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS)
• Assess existing on-premises and hybrid environments to identify workloads suitable for cloud migration
• Develop comprehensive cloud migration strategies, including timelines, dependencies, and resource planning
• Lead and validate cloud migrations, ensuring data integrity, performance, and system functionality
• Ensure cloud architectures comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Design and implement cloud security controls, including encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and network security measures
• Monitor cloud system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
• Implement solutions to enhance scalability, reliability, availability, and cost efficiency
• Analyze and optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and service quality
• Guide technical and business stakeholders on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, and Generative AI initiatives
• Map business use cases to cloud AI services across AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Azure
• Analyze cloud services to extract technical and business insights that inform reference architectures, runbooks, and training materials
• Collaborate with developers, architects, operations teams, and business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and best practices to IT teams on cloud technologies
• Communicate complex cloud strategies and architectural decisions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, tools, and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement
